The desire
of God is to bless His children. The desire of God is for His children
to walk in prosperity, hope, and joy. He is looking for His faithful
ones. His eyes are always looking for someone to bless.
Many times I feel the eyes of God watching over me. I can feel
and sometimes see His fiery eyes watching over His children, over
me. The first time I saw his eyes, I was overwhelmed by His fiery
eyes. Anytime, anywhere you want to see His eyes, you can see
them. He is our almighty, magnificent God. His eyes are looking
for someone.
Revelation 1:14
His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and
His eyes like a flame of fire...
This Scripture describes our Lord Jesus Christ. His eyes are
like a flame of fire. His fiery eyes are watching over this earth.
He is looking for someone to bless. When His eyes catch you, rejoice
and give thanks to God.
The eyes of God caught Abraham and said, “Take now your
son, your only son, Isaac, whom you love and go to the mountain
of Moriah and offer him as a burnt offering.” He was Abraham’s
only son. Who was Abraham to argue with God? In the past 100 years
he had learned to quietly obey the voice and commandments of God.
He joyfully, gladly offered his son as a savory offering. God
accepted his offering.
God spoke through his son, Isaac, to Esau and said, “My
son, offer me savory food. Make me savory food and bring it to
me.” Jacob brought that offering, the savory food. Jacob
became the father of Israel.
God asks us to bring our savory offering to Him in order to bless
us. He is not trying to take away our food, our finances, or our
life. He just wants to use the offering as a seed to plant, multiply,
and give back to us one hundred-fold. Many times we misunderstand
the meaning of savory food and refuse to give to God.
